Easy does it. That's it. Just like that.

When groups of accomplished, white-male musicians gathered in your childhood and resolved, as they often did, to leave all hints of roughness behind, it was your Birthstar's example they were often emulating. The rise of Bread had an enormous impact within the music industry, but it also marked the popstrological dawn of an important sociocultural archetype: the sensitive seventies guy. If Bread were a man, he'd have soft hands and a beard. He'd be in touch with his feminine side, but he wouldn't dream of touching yours until he was assured that you'd still respect him in the morning. This may seem at odds with the apparent message of your Birthsong, but don't let the title fool you: Make It With You was a sheep in wolf's clothing -- a hand-holder of a song that, like Bread's other big hit, Baby I'm-A Want You, showed less interest in making "it" than in "making it through" the emotional trials of a long-term, committed relationship. To the oppositional Breads among you who've been working so hard and for so long to cultivate a spicy persona and sow your wild oats, perhaps it's time to reap the Whitebread. As the child of the fourth and quintessential star in the constellation Lite & White, your natural comfort zone is in territory that soothes and sustains rather than shocks and awes.
