Start        Birth Years        Birthstars        Constellations

He was a star who exited the pop universe almost as quickly as he entered it, and the year of his dominance was the first in the popstrological era to be ruled by a man whose biggest hit, Tossin' And Turnin', was effectively his only hit. To say that Bobby Lewis's popstrological rule was weak, however, is not to say that its weakness made it unimportant. For in popstrology as in politics, periods of weak rule can be fascinating times. Nineteen sixty-one was a time of shifty and confusing power dynamics in the popstrological firmament, giving rise to a generation with a greater taste for plots and intrigues than it may wish to admit, but also with a marked gift for blazing trails and knocking down barriers in environments that give them a bit of room to operate.
